Megane's Birthday!

Today Megane is two!  where has the time gone!
Yesterday she enjoyed doing what all young ladys like to do - a spot of retail theraphy
We went to Scats and she had chats and biscuits with some of their staff! She had a great time having lots of fuss made of her and also she managed to buy some presents for today!

These photos were taken today and you can see she is looking beautiful!
Below is a photo of the little lady on the slide at Donna's !

Megane also paid a visit to see mum and dad and to have some birthday treats  ...

Windsor and East of England Championship Shows

Well the weather has been wonderful the last week or so. Perhaps a bit too warm as we had to cancel our trip with Megane to the Munsterlander Beginners Gun Dog training day that took place yesterday.  The drive would have been a 10 hour round trip too long in all this heat!  This was a great disappointment to us all (especially Megane who was hoping to have a good run around and play in the water!) this event only happens once a year so lets hope we get there in 2014!

Sunday 7th July East of England Championship Show
Another warm day and an early start!  The horses had to come in at 5 am but were quite happy to do so as the flies were already around!
This was my turn to handle Megane so hoped that I wouldn't let her down !  We had a male judge who came up and said "hello cuddles" and gave her a good pat on the head!! Luckily I managed to keep Megane standing up and not rolling over for her tummy to be tickled which has happened before!
Megane was very good and we achieved a 2nd so we were very happy and we achieved qualification for Crufts!
Like all girls Megane likes to do a bit of shopping (especially when her daddy is there with his wallet!) so after her class and having had a great time chatting with other Munster owners and Megane saying hello to their dogs we headed to a couple of stands to have a look.  She found the treats she likes and also got a couple of nyla bones.  Most importantly we found the ice cream van and David bought us all a vanilla ice cream - Megane can be seen below enjoying her own ice cream

Megane in the ring standing quite nicely!
Megane placed 2nd and she looks quite happy about it

Enjoying her ice cream!

Looking quite happy with herself with her 2nd place

Thursday 27th June was Windsor Championship Show
Mum came with Megane and I as David was in Brussels!
As we had missed a couple of shows with Megane having had her season I asked Donna if she would kindly run Megane for me.  This she did wonderfully and Megane got a 3rd thereby qualifying for Crufts!  Eleanor was taking Eve (who was out at her first show) to do the Kennel Club Good Citizen's Bronze test at the show and persuaded me to go with Megane and Dawn to go with Cooper to have a go too!  Eve and Megane passed!  and Cooper just missed out by breaking his stay!  I was very pleased with Megane as it was not the easiest of environments to do it in especially as she hadn't been out for a while.

Megane with her show certificate 3rd and her Bronze test certificate alongside her!  I think she looks quite proud of them!
